Trailing by 2 goals, Manchester United Success Come Back from Nottingham!

Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest in the Premier League 2023-2024 will be discussed here. The match held at Old Trafford on Saturday (26/8/2023) night ended with a score of 3-2 for Manchester United's victory.

Forest had two goals ahead through Taiwo Awoniyi (2') and Willy Boly (4'). However, the Red Devils - nicknamed Manchester United - managed to win through goals from Christian Eriksen (17'), Casemiro (52'), and Bruno Fernandes' penalty (76').

Thanks to this victory the Red Devils moved up to fifth place with six points from three matches. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest must be willing to be stuck in 14th place.

The First Half Match

Playing in front of tens of thousands of their loyal supporters, MU immediately took the initiative to attack. The Red Devils immediately stepped on the gas to bombard the guest's goal.

Manchester United immediately got a surprise in the early minutes. Nottingham Forest opened the scoring through Taiwo Owoniyi when the game had only been running for two minutes.

Only two minutes later, Nottingham broke into United's goal again. This time, Willy Boly carved his name on the scoreboard.

Forest's second goal made MU increase the tempo of the attack. Erik Ten Hag's foster children bombarded the Forest defense with their attacks.

After that, Man United looked more attacking. In the end, the Red Devils were able to reduce the gap in the 17th minute through Christian Eriksen's goal. No other goals were created until halftime. Man United are still 1-2 behind Nottingham Forest in the first half.

The Second Half

Trailing by one goal in the first half, MU immediately stepped on the gas. The Red Devils immediately bombarded Forest's goal from the start of the second half.

Man United immediately appeared to be pressing from the start of the second half. These efforts yielded positive results. Erik ten Hag's team was able to equalize after Casemiro scored with a header in the 51st minute.

Casemiro's goal made MU even more eager to attack. Two minutes later, Antony fired a curling shot that forced Matt Turner to make a brilliant save to save the golden opportunity.

Nottingham Forest were forced to continue the game with 10 people from the 67th minute after Joe Worrall was red carded. This was caused by a hard foul on Bruno Fernandes.

 

The buying and selling of attacks continued, but until 11 minutes of injury time ended, the Red Devils managed to maintain their lead with a score of 3-2.
